Position: DEPLOYMENT MANAGER

DEPLOYMENT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
Deployment Managers (DM) are part of the New Way of Working (NWW) to implement and support the deployment of Operation Systems (OS) products across organizations, including Digital Products and SAP Implementation. Responsible for the overall success of the SAP eXtreme deployment.
Communicate project vision and goals, including alignment with target operating model
Coordinate the tasks to be assigned to the DL team
Validate, communicate and promote change impact assessment and implement change plan
Complete business readiness assessment and execute remediation actions
Manage and participate solution readiness, infrastructure and security readiness, and user testing
Execute data readiness plan and validate/ monitor change adoption along with value assurance metrics
Perform and execute stakeholder analysis and engagement plan
Ensure alignment with transformation governance model
Execute training plan and ensure value tracking mechanisms are in place
Update and ensure project plan accuracy in the OS Toolbox. Manage post-deployment support and hand-off to sustaining.
Create and manage Super User program. Manage risks using the Risk Register
Complete all other change management and
deployment activities as required
DM’s are part of
SAP eXtreme project, which is made of 6 releases ( X0 – X5), and are
responsible for building the remainder of the Releases with a team of DL’s in
collaboration with GeoMarket (GM) OS Manager.
DM’s must update the Field Deployment Lead (FDL) tracking tool monthly to report status of their DL’s (active, changed, position retired, cost, release assigned, etc.)
DM’s have 1 or more Direct reports based on the scope of the release.
There will be DM’s for Regional Team, Product Line, Functions and for Technology.
Skills:
− Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol, • Ten or more years of experience in IT/ PL/HUB and business/industry
• Five to seven years of leadership responsibilities
• Previous SAP Ecosystem deployment experience (R2.1 – 2.4) preferable
• Project Management experience preferred
• Able to communicate and present information clearly

Critical for HUB Deployment roles: Function experience in Distribution/ Sourcing or Procurement, Finance/ TAX/ HR
Critical for Product Line (PL) roles:
PL management experience, and PL Technical knowledge
