Moldova will receive gas from Russia in November at a price of $450

Moldova, within the framework of a contract with Gazprom, will receive Russian gas in November at a price twice lower than the market price, wrote the Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova Andrei Spinu on the Telegram channel.

“In November, the price will be around $ 450 per 1,000 cubic meters, after which the price may fall depending on the exchange price of gas. Under current conditions, the price is two times lower than what we paid in October ($ 790),” Spinu said.

He noted that the new contract adopted the formula proposed by the Moldovan delegation, which is based on the ratio of gas and petrol prices on the market. According to him, since these are commercial relations between Gazprom and Moldovagaz, only these companies can reveal the exact formula.
Spinu added that on the debt of Chisinau, the parties came to the conclusion that in 2022 an audit will be carried out, which will establish the exact amount of the debt, after which new negotiations will take place, following which a calendar of their repayment will be drawn up.
