The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation announced plans for the development of electric transport.
Over the next nine years – until 2030, according to the ministry’s plan, the federal budget and extra-budgetary ones should allocate 153.5 billion rubles to finance the new infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.
According to the government’s goal, the market share of electric vehicles will grow from 0.1% to 15% in 2030. The total fleet of electric vehicles will reach 1.5 million cars. The pilot regions, in addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, will be Sochi, Sevastopol, Kaliningrad and Kazan.
