The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan announced that in the near future its “daughter” SOCAR Construction will be attracted by the Irkutsk Oil Company for a project to develop the Markovo field in Eastern Siberia
Limited Liability Company SOCAR Construction was registered on August 8, 2017 in the Unified State Register of the Russian Federation as an independent contractor for the construction, installation and operation of elements of the oil and gas industry.
As Turan reports on the company’s official website, on March 18, 2019, SOCAR Construction began its first project by participating in the construction of a gas processing plant in the Amur Region.
The term of the contract is 29 months. The scope of work includes the installation of metal structures and equipment, as well as the laying of technological pipelines.
The company has implemented the second contract for the installation of process pipelines at the Mozyr Refinery in Belarus with a duration of 13 months, starting from 28 August 2019.
