The enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 2,338 thousand tonnes of crude oil in February 2020 with the production volume from the beginning of the year amounting to 4,838 thousand tonnes (+16.7 thousand tonnes versus 2019). PJSC TATNEFT’s production volume amounted to 2,312 thousand tonnes with the production from the beginning of the year amounting 4,783 thousand tonnes (+15.3 thousand tonnes versus 2019).
The Company’s production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 26.3 thousand tonnes and 55.3 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year (+1.5 tonnes versus 2019).
The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 249 thousand tonnes in February and 515 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year (+160 thousand tonnes versus 2019).
New Drilling
140 new wells were built and delivered to the customers in In February (75 wells in 2019), including drilling of 129 production wells and 10 wells drilled to bitumen deposits with the exploration drilling accounting for 1 well.
Active Well Stock Drilling
3 wells were delivered in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling in two months of 2020.
Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan
As of today, there were two wells drilled for OOO Tatneft-Samara Company in the Samara Region: production well No. 347 and exploratory well No.302, while the works are an the completion stage exploratory in well No. 33.
Repair of Wells
The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 1,524 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in two months (785 wells in February of 2020), while the workover operations were performed at 409 wells (409 wells in February).
Formation hydrocracking operations were performed 182 wells (97 wells in February).
Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 387 wells (220 wells in February).
Production Performance of JSC TANECO
The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 981.6 thousand tonnes of raw stock in In February and with the volume processed form the beginning of the year mounting to 1987.1 thousand tonnes; the volume of petroleum feedstock processed in In February amounted to 905.3 thousand tonnes and 1,866.4 thousand tonnes.
The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants and Complex yielded 944.4 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in In February 2020 and 1,865,8 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year, including motor gasoline brands production amounting to 103.3 thousand tonnes in February (202.02 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year), and diesel fuel production in the amount of 295.6 thousand tonnes (608.9 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year).
