The total oil production in Azerbaijan in 2020-2022 will be 116 million 993.7 thousand tons.
According to government forecasts, indicated in the budget package, in 2020 the volume of oil production in the country will be 38 million 936.5 thousand tons, in 2021 – 39 million 96 thousand tons, and in 2022 – 38 million 961.2 thousand tons.
According to the government, in 2020-2022, Azerbaijan will produce a total of 128,260.4 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas. In 2020, the volume of gas production in the country will be 39,870 mcm, in 2021 – 43,436.7 mcm, and in 2022 – 44,953.7 mcm.
Commodity gas production for 2020 is projected at 29,827 mcm, for 2021 – 36,185.2 mcm, and for 2022 – 38,533.2 mcm.
As reported, in 2018, the Azerbaijani government expects oil production at the level of 38 million 848.1 thousand tons, and in 2019 – 38 million 496.4 thousand tons.
Gas production in 2018 is projected at 30,205 mcm, and in 2019 – 36,909.2 mcm.
Thus, according to government forecasts, in 2022, gas production in Azerbaijan will increase by 48.8% in relation to 2018, while oil production will practically remain at the same level.
In 2017, oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 38 million 756 thousand tons, and gas production – 28,362.6 mcm.
