According to preliminary data, from January to September, 2018, Gazprom produced 364.3 bcm of gas.
This is 7.2%, or 24.5 bcm, more than in the same period of the previous year. The increase is comparable to the supply of Russian gas to Italy, which is the third largest export market of Gazprom, in 2017 – 23.8 bcm.
The sales volume on the internal market increased by 5% (7.9 bcm).
Gazprom’s deliveries to the Far Abroad countries amounted to 149.2 bcm in the nine months of 2018, which is by 5.8%, or 8.2 bcm, more than in the period of January – September 2017. In particular, supplies to Germany increased by 12.3% (4.7 bcm), to Austria – by 33% (2 bcm), to the Netherlands – by 40.1% (1.3 bcm), to Poland – by 11.7% (0.9 bcm), to France — by 9.4% (0.8 bcm), to Hungary — by 11.5% (0.6 bcm), to the Czech Republic — by 12.3%, to Denmark — by 8.5%. In particular, in September there was a significant increase in supplies to the following Eastern European countries: to Poland — by 59.1%, to Hungary — by 39.3%, to the Czech Republic — by 23.4%.
