Minister Kumbaro saw some of the archaeological findings, such as the remains of a Neolithic era village; Iron Age graves with pottery accessories and personal adornments, all of which can be considered important findings for the area and the wider region.
During the visit, the Minister witnessed first-hand the high standards and protocols that TAP and its contractor apply for archaeological excavations and for the rescue and preservation of archaeological findings.
At the end of the visit, Minister Kumbaro congratulated all the archaeologists for their work and underlined that TAP is an excellent example of how large infrastructure projects and cultural heritage can work together.
