According to state statistics over the past 10 years, the volume of the oil GDP in Azerbaijan increased 1.5 times.
As previously reported, in 2016, oil production in Azerbaijan amounted slightly more than 41 million tons, which is 650 thousand tons less than in 2015. It should be noted that currently about 97% of crude oil accounts for offshore fields.
