Russia and Turkey have agreed to load Blue Stream gas pipeline to a maximum in the near future and increase its capacity from 16 to 19 billion cub.m. a year, reported Gasprom.
On October 1, 2014 Aleksei Miller, chairman of Gasprom Board, and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz had a working meeting in Moscow.
“They have agreed to load Blue Stream gas pipeline with Russian gas to a maximum to satisfy growing demands of the Turkish consumers,” Gasprom reported.
In 2014 30 billion cub.m. of Russian gas will be transported to Turkey, which is a historical record of deliveries (against 26.6 billion cub.m. in 2013).
