Gazprom gas exports in 2016 decreased by 25.3% in value terms – to $ 31.28 billion, as it follows from the Federal Customs Service statistics.
In real terms, exports of gas increased by 7.1% in 2016 and amounted to 198.7 bcm. Shipments to non-CIS countries amounted to 164.7 bcm, an increase of 13.8%, and to the CIS countries – decreased by 16.5% to 34 bcm.
The average price of Gazprom gas export in 2016 amounted to $ 157.4 per thousand cubic meters, a decrease of 30.2%. At the end of 2015 the average price was $ 225.6 per 1 thousand cubic meters. Gazprom expects the price of gas for 2017 not less than $ 167-171 per thousand cubic meters.
