The average daily volume of oil production in Azerbaijan in January 2017 amounted to 793.9 thousand barrels, according to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the country.
“In January, the average daily production amounted to 793.9 thousand barrels. Of these, there were 743.1 thousand barrels of crude oil and 50.8 thousand barrels of condensate,” said the Energy Ministry.
According to the Energy Ministry, the daily volume of oil export from Azerbaijan in January amounted to 617,000 barrels of crude oil, 50.8 thousand barrels of condensate and 24.2 thousand barrels of oil products.
Thus, the agency stresses that Azerbaijan completely fulfils its commitments before OPEC to reduce production by 35,000 barrels per day. Before the date of signing the OPEC production cuts agreement (10 December 2016), Azerbaijan produced 37,719,606 tons of oil in the first 11 months of 2016. The average daily production amounted to 829.1 thousand barrels.
The information indicates that the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan has submitted the January data on daily oil production in the country to the Joint Technical Committee for monitoring the execution of the production reduction agreement.
