Iranian Oil Industry Minister Bijan Namdar Zangane said that Tehran is not going to join the plan to freeze oil production, reported Mehr agency on Saturday.
Initially Energy Ministers of Russia, Saudi Arabia Venezuela and Qatar have agreed to freeze oil production at the level of January 11. Later on some other oil makers have joined the agreement. Another meeting of the oil making countries will take place in Doha.
On Friday Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman said that Saudi Arabia will not agree to the deal and reduction of supplies to the world market without similar actions from Iran.
Zangane said that he can take part at the talks between the oil producing countries in Doha (Qatar) on April 17, but it is not going to find an agreement on freezing the oil production.
Zangane said that Iran is going to continue increasing oil production and oil export up to the pre-sanctions level.
Oil prices could stabilize at the oil market at the expense of management of deliveries and production, said Minister.
At present Iran exports 1.8 million barrels of oil a day, said Rokneddin Javadi, head of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
