In February 2016 oil export via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal increased by 9.7% up to 3.81 million tons against February 2015, read CPC materials.
A yer ago oil export via the CPC terminal was equal to 3,475,000 tons.
During 2 months, 2016 growth constituted 9.6% up to 7,722,000 tons. A year ago export was 7,047,000 tons.
CPC is the pipeline connecting Kazakhstan with the Novorossisk sea port, where oil is loaded on the tankers to be delivered to the world markets.
CPC shareholders include Russian Federation (represented by Transneft -24% and CPC Company – 7%) with 31%, Kazakjstan (represented by Kazmunaigas – 19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC – 1.75%) with 20.75%, Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company – 15%, LUKARCO B.V. – 12.5%, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company – 7.5%, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – 7.5%, BG Overseas Holding Limited – 2%, Eni International N.A.
