Iran welcomes cooperation between OPEC and other producing countries to stabilize oil market, Bloomberg agency quoted Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangane as saying.
Minister did not specify if Iran is going to join the agreement to freeze oil production, which was concluded between Russia, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Qatar.
The statements have been made after the meetings between Oil Ministries of Iran, Iraq and Venezuela in Tehran.
Iran considers meetings between representatives of oil exporters as “the first positive step,” Zangane said.
