LUKoil is ready to deliver about 2 million tons of oil products to Iran in exchange for delivery of its oil to the European oil refineries, company’s Vice President Vladimir Nekrasov told journalists.
“We continue negotiations. We are ready to delivery of oil products to Iran in exchange for oil from Astrakhan. Maximum volume of transshipment in Astrakhan is 2 million ton. Oil from Iran will be delivered to the plant in Sicily and the plant in Burgas could refine it,” he said.
LUKoil worked at the Iranian market since 2003. In April 2015 the company reopened its representation in the Islamic Republic, reported TACC.
