From January to October 2015 oil products manufacture in Azerbaijan increased by 3.6% against the same period last year, reported the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee.
The black oil production had the highest growth – up to 302,900 tons (from January to October 2014 black oil was absent in the in the graph).
From January to October 2015 petrol production declined by 0.3%, virgin oil – by 5%, diesel fuel – by 0.9%, kerosene – by 2.4%, lubricating oils – by 57.2% and oil bitumen – by 32.3%.

The only manufacturer of oil products in Azerbaijan is SOCAR. The oil is refined at the Baku oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev. In 2014 the plant refined about 6.41 million tons of oil.
According to the State Statistical Committee, only in 2014 the country made over 5.3 million tons of oil products and 5.09 million tons in 2013.
