Belgian Fluxys company is going to buy about 8% out of 66% share, which State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will buy in the Greek gas operator DESFA, reported Greek mass media quoting reliable sources.
According to the same sources, Fluxys has already notified SOCAR about its intention to buy about 8% share in DESFA.
“The similar notification has been submitted to the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF),” write mass media.
SOCAR President said earlier that SOCAR is ready to conduct talks with the European companies to sell 16% share in the Greek gas transport operator DESFA.
Belgian Fluxys, Dutch Gasunie and Italian Infrastructure Transporto Gas and Snam Rete Gas companies pretend to 17% share in DESFA. In December 2013 SOCAR won the tender to buy 66% share in DESFA for 400 million Euro.
