Oil extraction in Kazakhstan is forecast to be 92 million tons in 2020, Novosti-Kazakhstan quoted Kazakhstan Vice Minister of National Economy Marat Kusainov as saying on Tuesday.
The draft of three-year budget is based on the forecast of socio-economic development of the country for 2016-2020 approved by the Kazakhstan Cabinet of Ministers in August 2015.
“In 2016 the volume of industry will remain the same as this year with future growth by 1.7% in 2017 and up to 3.8% in 2020,” continued Vice Minister.
In 2016-2020 average annual growth of agricultural products will make 2.8% a year and growth of services and trade will comprise on average 4.5%, the volume of transportation, information and communication services will remain the same as in 2015.
“The forecast of macro indexes and budget is based on the exchange rate of 250 tenge per 1 USD,” concluded Kusainov.
