During 6 months, 2015 SOCAR’s drilling companies reduced the volume of drilling by 25.9% against the same period in 2014 to 53,436 meters, reported SOCAR’s press office.
The share of the exploration drilling totaled 1,000 meters (decline by 38.6%), operation drilling – 52,436 meters (decline by 25.6%).
In June 2015 the volume of SOCAR’s drilling works totaled 9,518 meters.
During six months SOCAR’s drilling companies put into operation 35 new wells.
In 2014 SOCAR’s drilling volume totaled 127,436 meters, of which exploration drilling – 2,628 meters and operation drilling – 124,718 meters.
