Venezuela lost over $13 billion during 6 months because of slump of oil prices
Venezuela has lost between $13 and $15 billion during first six months this year, because of slump of oil prices, writes the local edition Nacional quoting the analysts.
During six months last year oil prices in the country were in average $98.00 per barrel and in the first half of this year they dropped by almost twice – to $49.70 per barrel.
“With every dollar, which the national oil basket has been losing, the country will lose about $640 million a year,” said economist Louis Oliveros.
