During the expanded session of the political council of Nur Otan party Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has instructed the government to transfer $3 billion a year from the National Fund to the budget from 2015 to 2017.
“It is the very moment for us to start using resources of the Fund. Kazakhstan should not repeat mistakes of other contries. The accumulated resources of the country must be re-directed to improve the country’s welfare,” Nazarbayev said in his annual greting to the population of the country.
President has also instructed the government to allocate additonal $3 billion a year in 2015, 2016, 2017 from the National Fund. The government has been instructed to submit the decision on allocation of resources from the National Fund within a week and take these resources into consideration in the budget for fiscal year 2015.
