LUKoil plans to build 25 platforms for development of the fields on the north of the Caspian Sea, Vladimir Logachev, Deputy General Director of LUKoil Nizhnevolzhskneft, told journalists.
“All LUKoil’s sea objects have been built at Russian ship-building plants. It is planned to build 25 platforms in accordance with the current plan of development of fields on the north of the Caspian Sea. We have a wide-scale investment program,” Logachev told journalists at the event devoted to completion of the coastal part of construction of the upper structure of the sleet-proof stationary platform No1 for the Filanovski field.
He said till 20222 the company will be working on development of Filanovski field.
“We have started the second stage of the projects of the field development. Two more platforms will be built separately. Construction of foot blocs, upper structure, residential bloc and the similar drilling rig is in progress,” Logachev said.
He explained that in 2017 the company plan to begin the third stage of the field development.
“In the future we are going to develop Kuvukin field. We have wide perspectives. I think if the contractor organizations and LUKoil have an understanding, then the orders will be guaranteed to the ship building plants of Astrakhan district,” Logachev said.
LUKoil discovered Filanovski field in 2005. The extractible oil resources of C1+C2 category total 153.1 million tons and C1+C2 gas resources -32.2 billion cub.m.
