Rosneft continued demonstrating production decline. In September 2014 the decline totaled 15,633,000 tons a day against 16.16 million tons in August 2014, Interfax reported quoting Central Dispatcher Department of the fuel-energy field of Russia.
Since January 2014 Rosneft has extracted a total of 142,849,000 tons of oil. Since early year production of oil and gas condensate in Russia increased by 0.7% against the same period in 2013 and totaled 392,932,000 tons.
In September 2014 average daily oil production in Russia increased by 0.8% up to 10.61 million barrels a day.
Alexander Nazarov, Gasprom analyst, said this growth is insignificant, but added that Rosneft is now the only company, which experiences production decline.
Rosneft President Igor Sechin has recently mentioned that during a year the company’s production may decline, because of reduction of drilling works caused by the complicated talks with the contractors.
