From January to July 2014 the international sea trade port of Aktau transshipped about 3.6 million tons of oil cargo against 3.13 million tons during the same period last year, reads the information posted on the web site of the port.
During 2013 the port transshipped over 6.28 million tons of oil cargo against 7.6 million tons in 2012.
Part of oil transshipped through Aktau port is transported to Baku and from there delivered to the Georgia’s Black Sea ports by railway.
From January to July 2014 the port has transshipped 6,024,000 tons of cargo. During this period number of calls of vessels totaled 1017.
During 2013 Aktau port transshipped 10.08 million tons of cargo, up 3.1% against the forecasted volume.
