From January to July 2014 SOCAR extracted about 4.4 billion cub.m. of gas against 4.18 billion cub.m. during the same period in 2013, reads the information posted on SOCAR’s web site.
SOCAR’s gas production statistics does not include production of gas on SOCAR’s own fields as well as the gas from the onshore and offshore fields developed jointly with the foreign partners on the basis of the production sharing agreement (PSA).
In 2013 SOCAR extracted about 7.31 billion cub.m. of gas against 7.46 billion cub.m. in 2012.
