During 6 months, 2014 production of petrol in Kazakhstan increased by 17.4%. From January to June 2014 1,486,000 tons of motor fuel (petrol, including aviation) was produced, up 17.4% against the same period in 2013, reported Novosti-Kazakhstan news agency.
During this period the republic produced 2,377,000 tons of diesel fuel (reduction by 10.2%), 1,706,000 tons of black oil (decline by 14.3%).
At present Kazakhstan has three big oil refineries: Pavlodar, Atyrau and Shimkent.
