During 6 months, 2014 Gasprom increased gas export to Europe by 2.8% against the same period in 2013 up to 82.88 billion cub.m., Gasprom President Aleksei Miller told journalists.
“This shows that foreign consumers continue making choice in favor of Russian gas,” Miller said.
ITAR-TACC earlier reported that in 2013 Russian gas deliveries to Western Europe increased by 20% up to 127.05 billion cub.m. Gas deliveries to Eastern and Central Europe increased by 4.3% and reached 34.43 billion cub.m. Total gas export to Europe increased by 16.3% up to 161.48 billion cub.m.
