German RWE concern, which in mid-April 2014 started reverse gas deliveries to Ukraine, is not going to disclose conditions of its cooperation with Ukraine, the company’s representative Martin Pak told ITAR-TACC correspondent.
“We will not comment on the price policy, this information is confidential,” he said to the request to comment on the statement of Andrei Kobolev, chairman of Naftogas Board, that the West offers cheaper gas to Ukraine – $350 per 1000 cub.m.
RWE reverses gas to Ukraine through Poland. According to the agreement, the volume of deliveries could total up to 10 billion cub.m. a year. RWE claims that gas is sold to Ukraine “on the basis of European wholesale prices,” including the transportation costs.
Russian experts claim that maximum volume of gas reverse to Ukraine could total 8 billion cub.m.
RWE is the second company after E.ON on the volume of natural gas sales. Its headquarters is based in Essen city.
