The share of oil in the structure of the Mangistau export constituted 99.3%. According to the Customs Control Department (CCD) of the Mangistau district, since early year the oil export brought in return of $3.5 billion, up 14.5% against the same period last year, reported BNews.kz.
Share of oil in the total volume of export increased from 98% to 99.3%. “Switzerland, Austria and Romania are the main buyers of oil from the Mangistau district,” said Maksat Akmuratov, press officer of the CCD.
“The greatest number of products from Kazakhstan is imported to Switzerland. The share of export to this country constitutes 35.7%. Austria is on the second place in the amount of purchase of the Mangistau goods. This makes almost 33% of total share of the exported products. 13.3% of products from the Mangistau district is exported to Romania, 8% to Netherlands and 6.6% to Italy,” he concluded.
