It is planned to invest about $2 billion into the fuel-energy complex of Kazakhstan, said Kazakhstan Vice Premier, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Isekeshev while representing a new concept of development of the Kazakhstan fuel-energy complex.
“The investments will be used to build new capacities, about 500 Mwt a year, and upgrade 600 Mwt of currently acting capacities to supply the enterprises and population with power,” Isekeshev said.
