Amir Abbas Hoseini, Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Institute of the Oil Industry for Technologies and International Affairs, said in his interview to IRNA at the international exhibition “Oil, Gas, Petrochemistry” in Tehran that the Institute and a German company have signed the memorandum of mutual understanding on cooperation to produce fuel from the ultra-heavy oil and oil wastes.
Hoseini added that cooperation with German specialists will allow the Iranian manufacturers commercializing technologies for production of fuel from ultra-heavy oil and oil wastes. He said. Iran has many fields with heavy oil and the above-mentioned technologies are of great importance for it.
Hoseini also said that the Scientific-Research Institute of Oil Industry of Iran has also signed another important memorandum with the Iraqi company, according to which the Iranian specialists will build a series of oil refineries in Iraq, reported www.Iran.ru.
