German E.on energy concern has signed the contract with the RasGas company from Qatar to deliver liquefied gas. According to the agreement concluded for three years, during this period up to 2 billion cub.m. of natural gas is planned to be delivered to the terminal un UK, reported Reuters. Annual gas consumption in Germany totals 100 billion cub.m., reported the agency.
In the company’s press release Christopher Delbruck, head of E.on subdivision, called the contract “a big step” towards further global growth of the concern and strengthening of long-term partnership with Qatar.
The press release reads that E.on tries to diversify the sources of energy carriers. Russia and Norwal still remain among important gas suppliers of the concern, reported http://www.dw.de.
