From January to March 2014 State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has exported over 5,756,000 tons of crude oil, down 0.7% against the same period in 2013, SOCAR reported.
During this period about 4.7 million tons of oil (growth by 2.4%) was exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline, 807,183 tons (+1%) via the Baku-Supsa (Georgia) oil pipeline and 254,033 tons (reduction by 38.2%) via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline.
The oil volume includes oil belonging to the Azerbaijani state on the basis of the agreements concluded with the foreign companies and SOCAR’s oil.
