In March 2015 oil export via the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) increased by 19.4% up to 3,932,000 tons against the same period last year, reported CPC.
A year ago oil export via the CPC terminal totaled 3,293,000 tons, reported TACC news agency.
During 3 months, 2015 growth constituted 16.2% up to 10,979,000 tons. A year ago export was equal to 9,449,000 tons.
CPC is the pipeline system connecting Kazakhstan with the sea port in Novorosssik, where oil is loaded onto the tankers for its shipment to the world markets.
The CPC shareholders include Russian Federation with 31% (represented by Transneft with 24% and CPC Company – 7%), Kazakhstan with 20.75% (represented by Kazmunaigas with 19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC – 1.75%),; Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company – 15%, LUKARCO B.V. – 12.5%, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company – 7.5%, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – 7.5%, BG Overseas Holding Limited – 2%, Eni International N.A.
