During February 2015 gross international resources of the National Bank of Kazakhstan increased by 0.1% up to $29.1 billion, reported BNews.kz.
According to the National Bank’s report about the condition of the financial market in February 2015, since early year the country’s international resources increased by 0.6%.
Net international resources of the National Bank totaled $28.3 billion, increased by 1.2% since early year.
The country’s international resources, including assets of the National Fund in foreign currency worth $71.7 billion, totaled $100.8 billion. During February 2015 the money supply increased by 1.2% and totaled 3,144.8 billion tenge. The narrow money supply, money supply without urgent deposits in the National Bank, increased by 1.5% up to 3.059.9 billion tenge.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kazakhstan increased its gold resources by almost 2.7 tons last month. Total gold resources of Kazakhstan reached 196.1 tons.
