Kazakhstan will reduce the export customs duty of oil from $80.00 to $60.00 per 1 ton, Kazakhstan Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dosayev told journalists.
From March 12, 2014 Kazakhstan has increased the export customs duty of crude oil from $60.00 to $80.00 per 1 ton.
“The duty will be reduced together with the budget. According to our estimates, which we have done today, the export customs duty will be reduced to $60.00 per 1 ton. It will be effective as soon the budget is adopted by the parliament,” he said.
At the session of the government Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev has instructed the government to reduce costs of the budget for fiscal year 2015 by 700 billion tenge ($3.8 billion) or by 10%.
