BP forecasts oil prices at $50.00-60.00 per barrel in the coming 2-3 years, Bob Dudley, BP President, told journalists during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“During the period of my work in this field this is the fourth serious slump of oil prices. We know what to do. I think that we must plan the oil prices at $50.00-60.00 within 2-3 years. Rosneft has prepared the plan of actions for 2015 and I believe that the plan is very responsible,” Dudley said.
BP is committed to investing capital into Russia and despite the sanctions it does not plan to reduce its share in Rosneft, Dudley said. We are absolutely committed to investments into Russia and cooperation with Rosneft. We must be careful and we always work in correspondence with the regime of sanctions, but this does not stop us from working with Rosneft on several projects and my role in the Board of Directors of Rosneft,” Dudley said.
