This week 5,000 tons of fuel and lubricants will be delivered from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan, Www.OilNews.kz quoted Kazakhstan Senior Vice Minister of Energy Uzakbay Karabalin.

“Kazakhstan still has shortage of fuel and we have been negotiating with Russia to start deliveries.

We already have agreements with Azerbaijan, we expect 5,000 tons of fuel and lubricants – the first batch. And we are going to achieve agreements later,” Karabalin said.

He also added that contracts have been concluded to deliver 69,000 tons of petrol from Russia.

10,000 tons of fuel and lubricants are expected to be delivered from Azerbaijan on the basis of the future agreements.
