During quarter 1, 2014 2.32 billion cub.m. of gas was extracted on the Shah-Deniz field against 2.42 billion cub.m. during the same period last year.
According to the quarterly report of BP-Azerbaijan company, from January to March 2014 600,000 tons of condensate was extracted from the Shah-Deniz field. This index decreased by 30,000 tons against the same period last year.
BP-Azerbaijan report says that from January to March 2014 average daily production totaled 26 million cub.m. of gas and 49,330 barrels of condensate against 27 million cub.m. of gas and 50,300 barrels of condensate in quarter 1, 2013.
During the entire period of the field development from the end of 2006 till the end of March 2014 50.3 billion cub.m. of gas and over 13 million tons of condensate has been extracted.
BP-Azerbaijan has coordinated with SOCAR increase in production on the Shah-Deniz field up to 29.45 million cub.m. a day by the end of 2014.
