Manage and deliver construction activity, onshore and offshore.
Company Service Requirements for Any Nominated Worker Provided
Any Personnel provided by your organisation to deliver this service should be able to:
• Ensure all subcontract construction operations are carried out efficiently and safely
• Manage onshore and offshore construction supervision, and input to resource allocation / planning perspective
• Provide specialist input to resource requirements and engagement with PD&MS employees to undertake
recruitment in line with schedule requirements
• Complete onshore site visits (to the onshore storage base) and offshore visits, as required, to provide specialist
input on outcomes from PD&MS individuals ensuring liaison with the local site management.
• Liaise with onshore Work Pack and Close Out Engineers
• Liaise with PRP and / or client representative to gain full understanding of scope of work
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and planning of construction department activities
• Establish and implement construction meetings whether internally or externally at Client as required
• Coordinate and monitor construction supervisors, trades and subcontractors
• Ensure all construction personnel are aware of / implement safe working practices / procedures and are
provided with a safe working environment
• Ensure that all project / Company HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
• Deliver a high standard of work ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is implemented at all times
• Deliver best practices at all times; capturing lessons learned and ensuring these are captured within the
Company system
• Manage labour, plant and equipment as necessary
• Understand and positively reacting to Client needs in an expedient and proactive manner
• Provide specialist input to training plans as required for Azeri National resources
• Liaise with Client focal points offshore and Department Heads as required
• Challenge unsafe activities, and reporting of poor and good safety behaviours
• Adhere to the Company Integrated Management System
• Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
• Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes, in particular, risk
assessment and control, constructability input to design development and design review, provision and use of
tools, equipment and systems

Experience in managing and developing others M
Thorough knowledge of offshore construction engineering
requirements, practices, planning, and reporting tools M
Previous experience in a similar role M
Significant experience in an offshore Project, Construction
and/or Management role M
Understanding of interfaces between various engineering
disciplines, and link to Construction M
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant oil & gas
industry codes and standards, and Construction legislation /
practices

Good understanding of drilling operations and maintenance
activities M
Good understanding of drilling rig equipment and systems M
Survival BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS M
Excellent written and spoken English M
