Directs and ensures an efficient planning, implementation, and monitoring of Benchmarking studies and OPEX Programs in order to developing high skill refinery functions, establishment of management and operational level business process and work practices, reduce operational costs and improve effectiveness and efficiency for maximizing profitability and sustainability, supporting the long-term strategic priorities of the organisation. Drives and embeds Operational Excellence culture across the organisation, working with cross-functional teams. |

Ensures setting of the basis of existing plants and running of a series of Workshops with BU teams. |

Direct and ensure the review and tracking of operational performance and KPIs against the plan, and assessing the effectiveness of risk, issue and action management. |

Provide guidance and support to the Senior Management team for setting SMART operational KPIs. Ensure similar guidance and support is provided to the BU Functions. |

Provide subject matter expertise, leadership and direction for operational excellence matters. |

Ensure a relevant support is provided for Functions to generate, validate (incl. cost-benefit analysis), plan and implement performance improvement solutions/OPEX Programs (incl. Quick Wins, initial runs). |

Ensure monitoring and control of the progress of all relevant tasks in OPEX and Benchmarking processes. |

Resolve interdependencies, overlapping and conflicting issues. |
