15+ years of oilfield experience with at least 10 years expertise in Geologist and Pore Pressure Engineer. Prior work Experience in drilling operations, mudlogging, or subsurface geology is essential.

Well Site Geologist:
- Real-time Geological Monitoring
Examine and classify rock cuttings, core samples, and mud logs to identify lithology and hydrocarbon potential.
Interpret drilling data to guide operational decisions and prevent hazards.
- Operational Communication
Ensure effective communication between drilling supervisors, engineers, mudloggers, and company representatives.
Advise the drilling team on when to conduct tests, adjust drilling parameters, or stop drilling.
- Data Integrity & Reporting
Guarantee reliability, accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of geological data collected at the wellsite.
Prepare daily logs, geological reports, and updates for the operations geologist and management.
- Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to company procedures, contractual obligations, and HSE standards.
Incorporate health and safety requirements into daily geological operations.
- Evaluation of Service Providers
Assess the capability of service company personnel and compatibility of equipment used on-site.
Skills:
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex geological and drilling data quickly.
Technical Expertise / Software Proficiency: Familiarity with geological modelling and reporting tools Like Petrel, Tech Log, Pore Pressure Model software. Proficiency in specialized software for geological modeling and reporting.
