Key accountabilities: |
· Planning and preparation of site work activities · Supervision of turbo machinery equipment installation / service · Instruction of customer/contractor personnel on specific tasks · Hands-on work during critical tasks. · Able to use precision measuring tools and equipment. · Performing/witness of coupling/shaft alignments · Check/witness of process pipe connections to turbo machinery casings · Quality and mechanical functional checks after installation of equipment · Dry gas seal replacement |

Required work experience for this position: |
The key experience include inspecting, installing, assembling, and performing service work on turbomachinery and auxiliary units, as well as troubleshooting technical issues.

Education: |
Mechanical Engineering, and/or completed vocational training in mechanical engineering and high-level qualification on MAN products. |

Essential skills: |
The Mechanical Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing on-site activities from mechanical completion to customer handover. They possess extensive expertise in the assembly of new installations and service orders for turbomachinery to ensure optimal performance. The role also includes training customer personnel while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards. The engineer takes the lead in supervising all on-site staff during installation and collaborates closely with the project manager, maintenance manager, and commissioning engineer to optimize team performance. Objectives include the timely and safe completion of new installations and service work and achieving high customer satisfaction. |

Desirable skills and qualifications: |
10+ years of expertise in hands-on as well as supervising the mechanical works on MAN ES products, specifically barrel type turbo compressors, used in the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan. The person must have a deep domain knowledge of each component installed in and around the machines. The person must be able to works very precise and understand how adjustments of individual components influence the operation of the whole system in order to allow continuous highest availability and reliable during operation of the assets. |
