Key accountabilities: |
• Pre and Hot Commissioning of new installed, repaired or overhauled turbo compressors (gas turbines, vacuum blowers) • Planning and preparation of site work activities • „Loop Checks“ (electrical Signals) • Function testing of auxiliary systems • Inspect process piping, valves and instrumentation • Check of control logic, verify alarms and shutdowns • Start up of machine, verify mechanical running behavior • Measure and record performance data • Adjust and optimize control functions • Supervise test operation and optimize process integration • Instruction of customer personnel related to operation and maintenance • Documentation and reporting on site work • Fault finding and trouble shooting of ‘in-service’ machinery • Handover to the customer of the machinery after job completion • Documentation and reporting on site work |

Required work experience for this position: |
The key experience include pre-commissioning and hot commissioning of turbomachinery to ensure optimal performance and integration of the equipment with the customer’s processes. Key responsibilities include inspecting and testing equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing functional tests on auxiliary systems and equipment test runs.

Education: |
A bachelor’s or master`s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, comprehensive commissioning experience, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in PLC systems, technical drawings and advanced computer skills. |

Essential skills: |
The Commissioning Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for executing all activities related to the commissioning of turbomachinery and associated equipment, from mechanical completion to customer handover, with service activities occurring during the operational phase of the machinery.
The role also involves training customer personnel, maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards, and leading the startup and testing of new or revised equipment. The mechanical commissioning engineer supervises the field personnel involved during the commissioning phase. |

Desirable skills and qualifications: |
10+ years of expertise in pre-commissioning and hot commissioning of MAN ES products, specifically barrel type turbo compressors, used in the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan. The person must be able to understand the operational requirements and tune the machines according to their specific field of application (e.g. gas injection, gas export, flash gas, etc.). |
