In January-May of this year, 20 billion 910.8 million cubic meters of gas were produced in Azerbaijan, of which 16 billion 192.8 million cubic meters were commercial natural gas.
This was reported by Caspian Barrel with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 0.2%, commercial gas – by 1.7% in annual comparison.
In 5 months, 11 million 438.3 thousand tons of oil, including gas condensate, were produced in Azerbaijan. Of this volume, 11 million 411.4 thousand tons are commercial oil.
The total volume of oil and commercial oil production for the reporting period decreased by 4.9% compared to the figures for the first 5 months of 2024.
