International Company is looking for a Workshop / Maintenance Supervisor

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Organises and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining equipment within one or more workshop facility. Develop and implement programs to ensure equipment reliability. Budget responsibility for the department and supervises through sub-ordinates. Responsible for ensuring all operations within the facility comply with the Company’s safety and quality management policies and actively implement programs to ensure continued compliance and meeting of company goals.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

1. 

Coordinate all workshop activities to ensure operational, project and engineering delivery schedules are met. 

2. 

Ensure that all equipment is maintained and/or repaired in conformance with Company’ policies and certification requirements

3. 

Ensure equipment movements recorded to ensure total compliance with procedures

4. 

Develop and implement programs to ensure service quality and equipment reliability

5. 

Undertake the supervision within the facility

6. 

Ensure that the latest revision of documentation is used and outdated versions are removed from circulation; ensure that maintenance staff are informed of and understand any changes to the maintenance procedures and job cards

7. 

Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines

8. 

Where appropriate, liaise with operations department to ensure that all 3^rd party rental items are tracked returned to the supplier at the earliest opportunity.

9. 

Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/ demobilisation updates etc. Ensure that tool box talks and planning meetings are undertaken when required.

10. 

Ensure that Stop Work Authority is reinforced with all maintenance staff. Ensure that the maintenance status board is accurate.

11. 

Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements including the use of Document Change Request (DCR) for updates to any controlled documents.

12. 

As necessary, ensure that pressure test equipment including chart recorders and test pumps are maintained and certified as per the Quality Management System

13. 

Liaise with team members and internal departments as and when required to ensure all aspects of  the workshop operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to allow continued safe operations and task completion

Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest

15. 

Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes.  Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate

16. 

Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job.  Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations

17. 

Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans.  Where

applicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required.

Any other additional tasks and duties that can be assigned by the Line Manager.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

(Indicate minimum knowledge and essential background qualifications necessary to perform the job competently)

Hold a Technical Qualification 

10 years  previous work experience within a related technical field

Previous supervisory experience

Knowledge of SAP system
