Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Job holder will oversee the Marine Operations as carried out by various Contractors, from their earliest preparatory phases through to final reporting. As needs arise, the Job Holder will attend operations as onboard marine supervisor.
- Provide marine advice to ensure safe and efficient planning and execution of all Loadout and Installation activities in line with Company objectives.
- Assist to ensure vessels are properly assessed, maintained and suitable for the proposed works.
- Ensure that the marine operations are planned and executed in accordance with project standards
- Provide Marine advise and input into Marine Work scopes
- Assist in planning vessels requirements
- Assist in assessing vessels suitability for work scopes in accordance with project and regional marine standards
- Monitor vessels performance and conformance to ensure that all relevant requirements are in compliance with CPY procedures and practices, Classification Society and State Marine Administration requirements, ASMA
- Ensuring that vessels and equipment used as part of this campaign are fit for purpose, certified, maintained, etc
Qualifications:
- Technical and operational knowledge
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
- At least 10 years of technical and operational experience and knowledge on similar offshore projects
- Proven experience in vessel mobilisation for installation operation
- Proven experience in Caspian Sea offshore project
- Proven ability in the knowledge and understanding of planning / schedules, forecasting and risk management
- Extended capability in managing self – time management, setting priorities, creative thinking, etc
- Extended capability in developing working relationships through effective communication
- Fluency in English
