Provide leadership to, and management of the Overhaul & Modification Department, and responsible for the supply of qualitative, professional and competitive overhaul services.
Accountabilities
- Manage the Overhaul department and resources, including project support and the local workshop & warehouse facilities
- Ensure adequate and sufficient resources are available to execute overhaul projects in the region
- Prepare and control the department’s sales/cost budgets and forecasts in line with company requirements
- Supervise project economy to meet budgeted gross margins
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of quotations and associated contractual obligations in adherence with the group risk management requirements
- Promote and ensure full implementation of all company quality related policies and procedures, particularly in relation to job management and records.
- Local process owner for department’s management system procedures
- Establish and maintain workshop practices & procedures
- Coordinate of activities to measure and monitor subcontractor performance.
- Develop strong, productive client relationships that align with and support the defined business strategy in the region.
- Promote and fully implement the requirements of the company’s HSSE management system at all times, including provision of appropriate safety information to personnel, input to accident/incident reporting, investigation and resolution
- Ensure persons under their line management are competent to complete the tasks allocated to them in a safe manner and that training needs are identified on an ongoing basis
- Answer all technical inquiries from customers regarding repair and overhaul projects.
- Assist provision of appropriate technical response to client and service personnel enquiries and technical input into projects activity.
- Liaise with the applicable Production Unit’s and other regional locations regarding resources / competence development / technical feedback as required.
Deliveries
- Deliver results in according to the department budgets
- Maintain and follow up PEM DLS whenever required
- Invoice according to PO agreement/VOR
- Documentation according to MHWirth standard and/or project-requirements
- Qualitative and professional Drilling Lifecycle Services

Competence Requirements
- S. Degree in Engineering Discipline
- Minimum Three (3) years’ experience in supervisory or managerial role
- Minimum of Five (5) Years’ Experience within the Oil & Gas Industry
- Conversant with engineering, procurement and manufacturing systems, practices and processes
- Ability to lead, direct, motivate and empower Overhaul & Modification Team
- Provides authoritative advice and expertise to diagnose, investigate and provide solutions to moderately complex problems
- Analyze “Big Picture” to identify risk and implement corrective action
- Knowledge of business administration, management and financial principles
- Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficient in written and reading comprehension of English
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
