Evaluate, optimize, and review training, optimization & upgrade performance issues, ensure client tailored.
Accountabilities
- Supports the Training and Optimization Department and Company’s yearly strategic objectives
- Works to develop training programs to enhance the skill set of the operators. Test and verify software.
- Optimizes the drilling equipment by liaising with the Drilling Contractor, MHWirth AS, third party vendors and other BP teams globally while prioritizing what items will be put forward to steering committee for approval. Each item is required to demonstrate performance and/or safety benefits.
- Liaises with the BP Rig Asset Management (RAM) Team on all maintenance issues/upgrades and the BP Technical Authority for Drilling Systems for all software upgrades.
- Reviews and implements a system for rig performance measurement
- Identifies, collates, and evaluates SEQ`s, CCN`s and SCR`s, to agree cost/benefit and degree of alignment to be achieved across the ACG fleet
- Reviews benefits and scope for procurement of 3rd party systems
- Identifies hardware issues, obsolescence, and compatibility with rig systems
- Dynamically reviews the QA21 –MHWirth Software Handling Procedure, to incorporate necessary changes based on the evolution and existence of the local simulator facilities
- Plays an active role in the evaluation of the dynamic ACG DCMS Update Strategy
- Liaises with the KCAD Technical Assurance Team to ensure integrity and compatibility with existing rules and regulations in the ACG field
- Interacts with customers and other MHWirth AS personnel in a professional manner
- Completes all work in compliance with company and customer’s policies and procedures for Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)
- Is being guided by MHWirth AS Visions and Values in all activities

Competence Requirements
- Business Administration or Industrial Engineering Degree
- Five (5)- Ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Four (4) years supervisory experience
- Previous experience with EPC contractor or industrial manufacturing
- Good knowledge of Drilling technology’s emergency preparedness and response plan
- Knowledge of MHWirth equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with outside vendors
- Well-developed Customer Focus
- Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficient in written and reading comprehension of English
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
- Ability to take initiative and be accountable for own decisions and actions
